Born from a Vision of Serenity

Winmond Hotel began as a dream — a desire to create a place of genuine peace, warmth, and beauty in the heart of Buloba, Uganda.

Since opening in December 2023, Winmond has welcomed families, travellers, and professionals seeking more than just accommodation. We set out to build a sanctuary — a place where people could truly rest, reconnect, and feel at home in a setting of natural beauty.

Situated in Kalambi, along the Kampala–Mityana road in Wakiso, our location offered everything we needed: lush land, fresh air, a peaceful community, and proximity to Uganda's capital. From that land, Winmond Hotel grew — garden by garden, room by room.

Today, Winmond stands as a growing landmark for the Buloba community — a place of warmth, hospitality, and quiet elegance that continues to evolve. But the vision that gave birth to it has never changed: serenity meets blissful living.

The Beginning

A Dream Rooted in Ugandan Soil

Winmond was built from a deep desire to create a true sanctuary — a place where families could escape the noise of daily life and travellers could find genuine comfort. The hotel was conceived with Buloba's lush landscape as both its canvas and its inspiration: the towering trees, the wide open sky, and the unhurried pace of the surrounding community all shaped what Winmond would become.

From the beginning, the ambition was not to build another hotel, but to build a home. A home with beautifully appointed rooms, manicured gardens, a warm restaurant, and a team that treats every guest as a member of the Winmond family. That spirit of genuine, personal hospitality — rooted in Ugandan culture — has defined us from day one.
